Xiangqi
About Xiangqi
Chinese Chess board game against a computer opponent. To win you need to capture the general of your opponent.
How to Play
Shift your pieces according to their specific movement rules. The General can only travel one square at a time within the fortress. Advisors must stay within diagonal moves within the palace. Bishops move exactly two squares diagonally and cannot cross the river. Horses move one square straight and then one square diagonally, if not impeded by adjacent pieces. Rooks move any number of squares straight, acting as powerful attackers. Cannons move like chariots but must capture by hopping over exactly one piece. Soldiers move forward one square and capture diagonally after crossing the river. Remove the opponent's general to win the game. Plan your moves carefully to checkmate the computer opponent.
